X Cleat - 14"

This cleat is ideal for cruising vessels up to 80 ft. Its unique geometry bites the line and helps the line to bind on itself when tying on. It is machined from solid block aluminum for greater strength and a clean finish which looks sophisticated on deck.
 
The cleat is mounted to the deck from the inside of the hull by four threaded,  asymmetric, 1/2" posts. The pattern is engineered to provide superior strength and resist yielding under heavy loads when moored or rafted in rough conditions. The oversized backing plate (included) protects the fiberglass from straining and cracking.
 
The cleat can accommodate fiberglass thickness up to 1". If additional thickness is required, contact our team to request additional lengths.
 
Waterproofing is achieved through the application of adhesive sealant between the deck and cleat. The groove reservoirs in the base of the cleat ensure a solid and waterproof fill.
